WebPersonal Experience: I can't do 'a program' when I'm cutting. So for all the people saying 'just eat less', it doesn't work for me. Because while I can do that, I won't. My motivation/energy for lifting goes away when I'm cutting. Instead, while I'm on a deficit, I try to do each of my major lifts once a day week. Anything else is gravy.
