WebOct 19, 2024 · So your DHCP one server should have scope to assig IP from lets say 1 to 128 and your DHCP two server should have scope to assign IP from lets say 129 to 254, no overlap between two DHCP servers. If there are any IP reservations, you need to make sure they are not part of these lease. Any reservations needs to be on both DHCP server. When this happens, no new machines can connect to the network and automatically receive an IP address. My only way around this is to enter a static IP on the new machine, that does not appear in the DHCP servers Address Leases list.

The yellow exclamation point means that you have reach your lease limit, and the green means you're fine with ip leases.
