The newer option is the Expressiv Midi Bass from Rob O’Reilly which claims 10ms latency for low E - not bad but Steve Chicks stuff can do ~1/2 of that if setup properly. WebFeb 8, 2024 · The only option would be a guitar-to-MIDI system like the Roland GKpickup into the GR-55, an Industrial Radio MIDI bass or the new FretTrax MIDI system. With the Roland, latency is high when playing lower notes so the piano would play after your bass. I think it would be pretty unusable.
