The next 1 has more rounded edges. The 3rd has the bottom corners turning more inside. The only reason I have a hood on the front sights of my hunting rifles, that are scope mounted anyway, is to protect the front blade/beads in case the opens are needed as back up should the scope shoot craps. When shooting the open, back up sights, honestly, I don’t even notice the hood.
